Our apologies, this Event has been cancelled.

Does the thought of gift wrapping feel like a treat or a chore?

Do you wish you could improve how your gifts or products are presented?

Are you already an accomplished wrapper and wish to increase your skills?

For any of the above, as we give gifts all year round, this workshop with Alison Campbell is for you!

Alison has always been known for her beautiful gifts. She decided to share her passion for gift wrapping by using her professional skills and experience as a trainer to bring gift wrapping to a wider audience.
Alison perfected her skills initially by attending a specialist course led by an industry guru. She then spent time sourcing materials, designing her own gift voucher envelopes and adopting new methods of gift wrapping to offer the widest range of skills and ideas.

This workshop is designed to meet the needs of all, from those who are looking to improve their skills for personal use or those considering offering a gift wrapping service to their customers. It’s an opportunity to join others, learn new skills and practise them in a creative and relaxed atmosphere.

Picking up tricks of the trade throughout, you will learn how to wrap neatly and economically covering different shapes, so you feel able to make even the most difficult gifts look fantastic.

This practical workshop will cover wrapping the following:-

  • A box shape
  • A bottle shape
  • A gift voucher envelope
  • Simple bow techniques

Alison will share some tips and help you consider how to design gifts based on your personal style or those of your recipients.

All wrapping materials required will be provided for the workshop and you will also have the opportunity to wrap some of your own gifts during the evening.

Alison Campbell is a Trainer for Lloyds Banking Group. Her creative side comes to the fore in workshops such as these and where she donates time and to local Edinburgh Charities and non profit organisations.
